Pioneer Kid "Stands Up"

A product of Amador County schools…my son Alden, was standing up on the podium last week at Lake Placid (pictured at the top middle in the black & white shirt), winning a second USCSA National Skiing Team Championship, plus a personal Silver Medal and All American award. Alden is back in class this week preparing to compete in a statewide competition at the Atlantis Hotel in Reno
as this years Sierra Nevada College Governor's Cup Winner.  Alden will be presenting his business plan and "solar cooler" prototype that could help to more successfully transport vaccines throughout third world countries. How can he possibly lose, claiming that without ice he can keep beer perfectly cool at 34 degrees in sub-tropical heat?

As a father, it is incredibly rewarding to see your child excel competitively, while at the same time thinking of how best to help others. It would truly be an honor to return some of the blessings that our home in Pioneer has provided to my family, which is why I am now asking for your trust in electing me as your next County Supervisor.
